If you’ve never had Turkish food, now’s the time to start!  Talullas offers delicious authentic Turkish food at an affordable price.  Many compliment the fantastic flavors and wonderful presentation that makes the restaurant feel like a high-end location worth three times its costs.  The staff treats diners like family and ensures that all of your needs are met before you leave!

Hawthorne and Wood

Location: 3140 Environ Way.

Cuisine: high-end global flavors and cocktails.

Affordability: slightly expensive.

While still fully affordable, Hawthorn and Wood offer local and global flavors alongside their fantastic wine and cocktail menu, the most expensive restaurant on this list. Every delicious dish looks like a piece of art and is cooked to perfection.

Top of the Hill Restaurant and Brewery

Location: 100 E Franklin St #300.

Cuisine: classic American fare and local beers.

Affordability: affordable for most.

At the end of a long day, sometimes all that you need is the chance to sit back and eat some delicious food with a great draft beer.  Top of the Hill Restaurant and Brewery doesn’t try to present itself as anything it’s not and instead focuses on making the best food it can.  Every meal is classic American, with incredible flavor and an awesome waitstaff that is very receptive and eager to help.

Kitchen

Location: Parking lot, 764 M.L.K. Jr Blvd.

Cuisine: tasty restaurant with a mix of American and French fare.

Affordability: extremely affordable.

Despite its vague name, the Kitchen has made a name for itself as possibly the best restaurant in Chapel Hill.  Reservations are encouraged, giving you the chance to ensure you’ll have a seat at the table.  Every meal is cooked perfectly and served in fantastic ways that will make you think you ended up in Europe or San Francisco.  

Mediterranean Deli

Location: 410 W Franklin St.

Cuisine: fun Mediterranean dishes and drinks.

Affordability: very affordable

Average rating: 4.8 stars out of 5 stars.

If you haven’t been to a Mediterranean deli, it’s time to chat!  Offering fantastic prepared foods, with kosher options and a side of baked goods, you’ll want to try everything they have available.  The large selection, great flavors, and huge portions make it so that you’ll want to come back every day.  This restaurant alone is worth looking into Chapel Hill apartments so that you can eat it more often.
