My 2013 Fall Garden


My summer garden is finishing up. Right now I’m harvesting leeks, cucumbers (still!), tomatoes, peppers, beans, butternut squash, and melons. But that doesn’t mean I’m not thinking ahead to fall. I have already put in a portion of my fall garden and will finish up planting in October. Here’s what I’m putting in this year:

  1. Brocoflower, the first pictured is sooo good. Found it at the farmers market years ago. It’s great raw, steamed, in casarols, and in soups. Good stuff. Purple brocoflower is also great!
