Log Lights

I like the idea behind Log Lights, which gives a whole new meaning to a fire in the fireplace. The logs hold 11 tea lights that, when lit, can give off an ambience similar to a fire.
The logs are made of resin and cost about $96. But if you like this look, this doesn’t seem hard to make yourself if you had a drill press and a large bit…

  1. I think I’d hesitate to use a drill bit and logs to make a DIY version, although it is pretty! Somehow, though, I could see myself nodding off in front of the fireplace and having the tea lights set the log on fire, which would be fine except I have a gas fireplace. And I probably wouldn’t have bothered opening the flue just for a few measly candles.
