IKEA Fabric Isn't Bad

After seeing this footstoool makeover by Bonnie Van Voorst, I started thinking about IKEA fabric. I am in the process of shopping for something to re-cover a chair with and IKEA is a pretty good option. It’s not where I would go to find something elegant or refined, but the colors are bright, the patterns are bold, and the prices are pretty decent. The fabric seems to range between $5-$8/yard. Here’s a few patterns I liked from their website:

Gunvor for $5.99/yard

HEDVIG for $7.99/yard

FREDRIKA for $6.99/yard

PETRONELLA for $5.99/yard

KATRIN for $5.99/yard

Sharing is caring!

  1. Yes, most IKEAS have the fabric in the stores, so you can feel it and see if it looks good in person. I’m planning to go in the near future.
