Martha Stewart has a slideshow of recipes to make for mom on Mother’s Day, including some awesome-looking breakfasts. It includes scrambled eggs in eggshell cups, heart-shaped pancakes, blueberry blintzes, and French toast with asparagus and orange beurre blanc.
But my favorite is this heart-shaped egg in the hole. All you do is cut a heart shape in the bread, butter it, brown both sides, then break an egg in the hole and let it cook for 5 minutes until it “turns opaque.” This would be great for Valentine’s day too.
